The Blueprint documentary has been put online streaming on Vimeo! A short synopsis of the film and the link are below.
In 2008, The University of Wisconsin-Madison Men's Ultimate team, The Hodags, set out with the goal of winning a second consecutive collegiate national championship. "The Blueprint", the first fully documented championship season, follows the Hodags as they grind through workouts in a record snowfall winter, face off against Florida, Carleton, and Colorado, and struggle to overcome their biggest challenge; themselves. Packed with huge skies, full-extension layouts, and a sweet soundtrack, this is a piece of Ultimate tradition that you won't want to miss!
The Hodags hosted and played at another successful No Wisconsequences tournament in Delafield, WI this past weekend. Both tryout teams did very well, Wisco-X led by captain Craig Cox took second, and Wisco-Y led by captain Avery Johnson took fifth. Both teams sole loss came to Minnesota-Duluth and both teams notched wins over Carleton CUT and Iowa IHUC. And so, after a very long and competitive tryout process, the Hodags are pleased to welcome 6 new rookies to the team. They include:
Brandon Taitt - a fifth year from Carleton, originally from New Hope, MN.
Walter Cai - a fifth year from Cornell, originally from Madison, WI.
Nick Vogt - a freshman from Edina, MN.
Eric Von Kampen - a sophomore, originally from Hopkins, MN.
David Yu - a freshman from Madison, WI.
Gordon Peterson - a fifth year from Cornell, originally from Amherst, NY.
Next up for the 2014-2015 Hodags team is our only fall tournament Missouri Loves Company in Columbia, MO November 8th and 9th.

This year the Hodags will be traveling to, Florida Warm Up, February 14-16, Stanford Invite, March 1-2, and Centex, March 15-16. More info will be linked and posted in the Tournament Information tab as it becomes available, Hodag Love.

However be on the look out in the spring for a few more new faces, as the Hodags have decided to go with a more fluid boundary between themselves and the Pimpdags in order to field the best team possible come the series.

Whew! We made Nationals, that could have been embarrassing, huh? Anyway, the mud proves no match for the Hodags in Cedar Falls, Iowa and we take the region. See write-up for more details regarding regionals, sectionals, Stanford...and other things. Prepare Madison for Nationals! Also, vote Brian Hart for Callahan! Watch this if you need convincing.
